Assumption eight
When starting from the year 2000, at least 360 billion tonnes of carbon pollution will have been emitted into the atmosphere by the tenth of October 2010.
 
This leaves a balance of 640 billion (assumption six) and 420 billion (assumption seven) tonnes of carbon dioxide will cause a 2 or a 1.5 degree rise in average global temperatures by 2050.

The per annum share of these balances for 2009 / 2010 is 16 and 10.5 billion tonnes.

Assumption nine
The World GDP value for 2009 in dollar value terms is just under 64 trillion.

Assumption ten
By the tenth of October 2009 the global population will be around 6.4 billion souls.

Assumption eleven
The historic cost of excessive pollution was decoupled from the wealth creating process.

Assumption twelve
There is a social need to create a link between the cost of pollution with the ambitions of the wealth creating process.

Assumption thirteen
The cost of pollution in the wealth creating process can be compensated for by individual choice, business motive (profit), incentive schemes and taxation
